A KILO LIGHTER AFTER A NOTHING WEEK

I wasnt really going to count on this week, since i was sick for the first half and then a bit overindulgent at the end. no drinking verses ttom this week as well so it was going to come out fairly even i thought. Turns out i was a kilo lighter when i weighed in this morning, which gets rid of my 600g gain last week so im happy with that! 1.3 off my BLC goal set at 77 kilos, so im going to make sure thats gone by the end of the week. reminder that this week is the last week for the challenge, so make sure you get your final weigh ins to me asap so we can compile our results! everyone has done a fantastic job and i hope the challenge has helped all of you get a little closer to your goal - or very close for the likes of sherrie who is only an incling away with a weigh in to go this week! well done everyone!!

A gain in fair game!

I gained 600g this week, which while obviously im not happy to report this gain, i know why its there so it hasnt got me down or wondering why - which i think is very important.

We have some lucky weeks which im guilty of but we cant always have lucky weeks otherwise we wouldnt have been overweight in the first place!! So this week my body said, right you've had enough chances, stop being naughty, and ill penalise you with a few hundred grams. and really thats all it is. I am confident it will be gone and then some - for next weeks (final) weigh in!

Going to melbourne for a wedding on the weekend meant lots of bad foods, and too much drinking. and then as a result the hang over food was even worse! so i thought 600g was pretty good considering!! I also couldnt do as much exercise last week due to VERY sore muscles after my first pump class - im going back to torture myself tonight too!

This weekend im having a grog free week - and doing the same next week so im confident while i wont be at goal by the end of the challenge, ill be pretty god damn close!! and in the big scheme of things - THATS whats important!

Anyway I wish you all the best for your weigh ins this week, take care and keep in touch!

Cacher and Cheryl - im waiting on your last weeks results still
I havent heard from Carly bird in 5 weeks now so im thinking she's pulled the pin!

GREAT STUFF TO -
HELEN, CACHER, CHERYL, GEN, SHERRIE, ANG, CHRISSY and our little maintainer - CAZ!
THERES ONE WEEK TO GO OF OUR 12 WEEK (3 MONTHS IS HUGE) AND EVERYONE IS LIGHTER THAN WHEN WE STARTED! WELL DONE, ENJOY THE LAST WEEK AND BE SURE TO MAKE IT COUNT!!

Hallelujah!!

I am under 90kg!! I lost 2.4 kg this week, which is my best effort since I started this effort, which I am stoked about! I now weight 89.8kg !!!

Back on Track

Hello Ladies,

Well, I did better this week- I lost 1.5kg, so I managed to lose my gain from last week and some. I am so happy, as it means I am no longer classified as "overweight" for my height! I don't think I've ever been in my healthy weight range since I was 5, when I got chubby as a kid. I am starting to realise the enormity of what is happening to me- its almost like my identity has changed- "fat" has always been part of how would describe myself.

Anyway, this week I have worked on compromise. So instead of going and beating myself up about slipping up, I worked out in the gym a bit extra and cut down on food somewhere else. This week I'll try and stick to my meal plan, but at least I know after this week, that if I do slip up, working around it does work.

Hope you all have lovely weekends, and best of luck for your weigh-ins next week!

FRIDAY AGAIN!!

CHERYL AND HTD - I need your weigh ins for this week

and Carly is 4 weeks behind now.. im thinking she may have dropped out.

I hope you all have a great weekend, keep in contact, we only have 2 weigh ins to go before we crown the biggest loser! i found BL on tv really inspiring last night, there have been some great transformations!!

Best of luck :)

Surprise LOSS

Hi all, a very surprising loss this morning, after a very eventful weekend. Found and bought my wedding dress on friday which was very exciting, and guess what it was - a size 12! my size at the start off ww was 18-20 so that was amazing to have that size fitted in a wedding gown!!

I lost 800g this morning so im down to 78.7 so im 3.7 off my ww goal of 75, im also 1.7 off my BLC goal and only 1.3 kilos off being at the 30kilo mark, so im very impressed with how well i am going, dropping a point a day since hitting the 70s has made a big difference too I have found and im keen to put in another good week this week!

I ate a lot of crap on the weekend but netball played a big role with exercise and i kept active on the other days off too. I had too much burittos friday night, and the rest of the weekend consisted of a pie (nothing else elft at the canteen - but no excuse i should have made a salad roll to take!) and then some lollies before the game, too much pizza and garlic bread saturday night, my arch nemisis - platter of bickies and dips, cabana cheese etc, made an apperance saturday night for our tennis break up - me to blame - i made the darn thing, and ate most of it too i think. and i drank udls to add to the damage, only four or five though, sunday i had a big bacon and egg breaky and then had some grazing through out the day, steadyd up at night and had a ww meal for tea and walk afterwards which i guess helped but i was still very shocked this morning not to have gained, i think the hard work early - in preparation for the dress shopping helped out there... imagine what i could have lost with a good weekend!!! anyway thats life!

Pump class tonight and then netball training tomorrow night, latina pasta and sause tonight for tea, get the carbs up early for another busy week! I hope you all have some luck this week too, i realise we dont get much so ill take this one and work hard to repay the favour!!

Have a great week and if anyone hears from CARLY BIRD can you please let her know we are missing 3 weeks of weigh ins for her, everyone else is up to date - send through this weeks and ill do up a 10 week progress report at the end. keep up the great work everyone! BL is getting interesting too!!

0.5kg Gain

Hello ladies,

Hope you all had a lovely Easter! My Easter was a bit too lovely food-wise- this week I have a gain of 0.5kg. I am disappointed, but I know why I had the gain, so I guess its easier to deal with than if I was very good and had a gain. So between my Easter Sunday blowout and pre-mentrual bloat, it is an understandable gain. It does make my goal seem a bit further away, so I will be battling the "I'm over it" demons again this week coming... I am tired, so this weekend I hope to find the balance between being able to chillout a bit, and trying to keep busy so I don't think about eating food! Wish me luck...

Have a lovely weekend and good luck for your next weigh-ins :)

Monday, April 9, 2007

WOW!

I tried to post before, but the computer had a hissy fit.. ill try again...

How did you all go over the easter break! I fell in a big hole!! but its how you get out of those holes that makes the difference!

I lost 100g this week - which is a massive loss after the four day bender I had, with alcohol and with food! i had some good spurts but overall it was pretty bloody pathetic. huge nights thursday and sunday, huge meals saturday and monday! and not enough exercise until i pulled my finger out and ran my arse off last night! so it paid off, and the end of ttom played a part too!

The main thing is im a seventies girl for dress shopping this week! and only 4.5 from my ww goal! only 2.5 from the blc goal too! so look out over the next 3 weeks!! im down to 20 points now too so that should help! planning, tracking and moving are my three tricks of the trade!

and another positive today - tried my new work pants on that i ordered over the weekend... went to the toilets just before to test them out, i held them up and said, NO WAY! tried them on and said YEY!!! size 12s. the ones that i have on the back of my door and had on this morning were a size 16... before ww it was a size 20.. its amazing how that hits home! and makes it feel real!

salad roll for lunch today and ww meal for tea after training tonight! then into the study, assignment due this week! wish me luck!! have a great week all and for everyone who didnt send me their weigh ins last week, please do so along with thise weeks. cheers!

Early weigh-in

Hello fellow fat-blasters!

I weighed in a day early this week, as I am going away to my parents house for the long weekend, and didn't want people to think I was weirdo and take my scales! Luckily I had done enough for the week to have lost 1kg, which I am excited about for several reasons:

1. I have passed the 30kg weight-loss mark (30.5kg)
2. I only have 0.5kg to lose to be in my healthy weight-range for my height! I will be no longer "overweight"!!!
3. I only have 3.5kg to reach goal :)

When I posted my goal weight for this challenge as being my actual goal, I thought maybe I was a bit ambitious, but maybe it wasn't so ambitious after all! I'm keen to rip in and see if I can do it!

For Easter, I've made a detailed food/exercise plan like Jenn... I also have a mantra I plan to keep saying in my head: "I am in control and I will make good choices". I just made my first one by putting some little Easter eggs in my handbag that was given to me by a work colleague, so I can offer them to someone else (probably the bf:)). So hopefully I can make as many good choices as I can! I know there is a high chance I will go off the rails at some point, I just have to minimise the damage!!!

Hope you all have a lovely Easter surrounded by loved ones, and may you all have the strength you need to get through it relatively unscathed weigh-wise xx

Tuesday, April 3, 2007

Where are all our weighers??

How did you all go this week?

I also want to see some posts in here about how to survive the easter break!!!

A strong support base is so essential in this journey so make sure we keep it up! keep sharing some good tips and advice and your successful weigh ins so we all keep motivated!

Mine are- to PLAN, TRACK and stick to my guns!
Daily Exercise, with or with out a hangover and remember how far i've come!
27.8 kilos is one hell of a lot of chocolate!!!

HAPPY EASTER EVERYONE! xx

Still Maintaining

Hi girlies... Back to 59kg this week, which I'm happy with. The whole 58-point-something scared me and made me realise I haven't really been looking after myself properly and if it wasn't for my good friends wouldn't have been eating more than a couple of proper meals a week... So I'm back to being healthy and conscientious, and maintaining btween 59-60kg. Well done to everyone on some fantastic losses. Can't believe I've been at goal for over 6 weeks. That's over half the time it actually took me to lose the weight... Wow! Have a good week...

END OF WEEK 8

So its end of week 8, we are down to 9 contestants and one maintainer! its definitely the business end of this challenge and so many of us have achieved so much already!

Myself and Sherrie have both lost 5kilos, Angelle, Gen and Carly have lost over 4kilos! and the rest are all plodding away as well! everyones less than when they started and thats the main thing!! - Cheryl is only 600g away from her blc goal weight!! well done everyone!!

GOAL FOR THIS WEEK -

I want everyone to sit down and write up and stick to a set plan over easter. if its there and we are with it then we dont have any excuses over the extra long weekend. of course theres going to be some splurging and out of your control meals, but counterbalance that with exercise girls!!! Choose better foods when you do have to eat away from home and be more selective with your alcohol - ie instead of jim beam cans, make your own bourbon and diet coke.. or instead of udls make your own with diet softdrink and vodka! its the little things that count.

One thing I also found and it was also mentioned on 'whats good for you' last night - its not so much the alcohol you drink, its when the alcohol acts as an inhibitor/relaxant and you eat crap as a result. so think about that when you wake up feeling CRAP and reach for something greasy. a/ it wont make you feel any better, just more sluggish and b/ you will put on weight.

Have a good week everyone, i look forward to your pre easter results!!
Hi girls,
Sorry for not getting in touch for ages. Two weeks ago, I gave up smoking and I've not been very good with my food because of this. It's been really hard but it is something I really want and need to do. I just feel that I need to concentrate more on staying off the fags and although I will keep doing my exercise, I don't think I'll be much good in this challenge right now.

Everyone keep up the good work and I'll be cheering you all on with your losses.

Sorry about this, Karrie x

Another loss for me - and its TTOM

Hi all, a quiet weekend definitely pays off at my end.. I lost 1.6kilos this week! which brings me to my 5kilo total for the BLC. AAAAAAAAAAAAND it brings me back into the 70s! 79.6 as of this morning.. and ttom tomorrow!! i also snuck a few of chappys kfc chips and a killer python last night on the way home from the footy... but i obviously had done the hard yards all week and no alcohol was definitely a big factor. Im keen now to maintain or even lose a little with the end of TTOM and hard work and determination. we have a bus trip/big night this thursday night (work social club) then again sunday night (grand final drinks and bus trip for footy/netball) so monday morning will be a test, but i think i can do it and ill be focusing on that all week, im enjoying saying 70something so im keen to stick around.

How did you all go, good luck for the next weigh in. week 8 starting as of today! how they fly!!!

Woohoo - 2 weeks in a row!

Yeehaw - lost another 1.3kg this week, so down to 91.2kg. *Almost* in the 80s!!! Slightly nervous as I go back to working night shift this week - will have to take my meals. Also going down to the parents' holiday house in Vic for Easter, so I'll have to keep up with the exercise. Hope everyone else has a good weigh-in!

have a GOOD weekend

Hi everyone, its the week before easter, so this is the weekend to do it!

and as Shez has said in a comment earlier - its ONLY TWO DAYS - that we need to focus on! get through them and the other days are a breeze!

Plan your weekend tonight if you havent already done so in your weekly plan and - STICK to it! Get in some incidental and work out exercise over the two days and look after yourself, you have all done so well and we're on the home strait, dont lose site of that - or of how far you've come.

If thats all you do for me this weekend, think about how far you've come, not what you have still to lose!

Not bad!

Hello ladies,

Well I can report a loss of 0.5kg this week. I'm cool with that considering I had a weekend where a lot of bad choices were made! Read: pizza, chocolate, beer, cheese and biccies... I am having a pretty quiet weekend this weekend, so I hope to overturn the trend of my bad weekends!

I have 7 weeks to lose 4.5kg- well thats what I hope to do to get to goal before I go back to the UK to visit friends and family (in-laws). So I hope to have a really good week this week, to knock a bit more off that amount, as I have to face Easter at my family's next weekend! Oh dear, there will be temptations galore!

Hope you all have a great weekend, and best of luck for weigh-ins next week x

Tuesday, March 27, 2007

Finally - a great week!! I took a few days off training due to an achilles injury, but that's all fixed now.. and I lost 1.5kg last week!! Woohoo. I had dropped my calorie intake to around 1250, and I was pretty strict on it, so I'm sure that's what made the difference. I did have one night out to dinner for Thai food, so I'm very happy with my result!! What about everyone else??

WELL DONE TO EVERYONE!
LETS MAKE THIS WEEK A PERFECT WW WEEK!

Another Week Down

Hi everyone. Hope you all had lovely weekends... I ended up out both nights after work, so am a wee bit tired this morning! Drove both nights, so didn't drink much, but was out til 4am Friday night, and 3am (factoring in change of time) Saturday so not a whole lot of sleeping was done! On the weigh-in front, I'm down at about 58.2kg this week, so a 1kg loss. Must've been the dancing I did on Friday and Saturday!! I don't like being quite so far from 60kg though... think I need to stick to about 59kg cause I've had a few people ask my ex what's wrong with me and whether I'm on drugs because I've lost so much weight... I know it's all about how I feel, but yeah. Don't want to look sickly!

Hope you all have a great week. xx

700g LOSS

Major slip-up but still got a result

Hello Ladies,

Hope you all had a great week. Congrats on your fab losses this week as well! I can report a 1kg loss for this week, but I didn't do myself any favours to achieve that loss. I had a very stressful time at work this week, and decided the only way I could cope was to eat lollies- I managed about a packet and half's worth :( But I put in a massive effort at the gym to counteract it, plus I think the loss of some PMT bloat contributed to the week's overall loss. To cope with stress in the future at work, which I think will only get worse, is to buy some calming teas, as I love tea- I think the stuff is magic! I was proud of myself that I didn't get mad at myself for eating lollies but got even instead, taking it out on myself exercise-wise!

Hope you all have great weekend burning up those rotten fat molecules! xo

Monday, March 19, 2007

Halfway there!

OK - back on track! Lost the same 700g I found last week, so back to 94. I'm okay with that. Will be stricter on my calorie intake this week - dropped to 1400 from 1550 last week, but had a completely SHOCKING week with cravings, jelly snakes and chocolate... not sure if that's a sign to be stricter, or to increase the calories again. Also had more carbs than usual, and it makes me want MORE! I think, as with most things, moderation is not me. I'm better to go without than try to police myself.

Now getting right into my HR monitor, and aiming to burn at least 500 calories/day, or 3000/week, allowing for one rest day. Small issue with my R achilles tendon, but I'm hitting the nurofen and icing it. One of my training buddies did a hamstring this morning, so fingers crossed we don't have any more injuries! Would love to add some swimming to my routine, but I have REALLY curly hair, and have to blowdry it straight every time I wash it.. pain in the you know what to go swimming! Maybe I'll just add it once a week and see how it goes. Would love to add an aqua aerobics class or deep water running, just need to find out where they do it. Might try north sydney olympic pool.

Had my last day at work today, as well as TTOM - so feeling rather emotional and "give me sugar!"-y. I may not resist, but I'll stick within my calorie limit EVERY day this week. Work drinks and dinner this Friday, so have to save up some bonus calories through extra exercise. Also limit alcohol intake, as that's what got me last week.

Good luck for weigh in everyone - the challenge is halfway over!!!!!!!!

Sunday, March 18, 2007

GETTING THERE!

Hi everyone,

Well the good news is, I lost 1kg this week. Yeah ! I was pretty strict with my eating, (mostly)but I know that I could have done better if I had exercised more. All I really done was a fair bit of walking. So this week my aim is to do a half hour of running (or jogging) a day and at least 200 sit ups maybe every second day as well as some arm exercises. Does anyone know of good exercises for getting rid of lower back fat coz even though I am not too far from goal, I still have this big hangover of flab when I wear my jeans.

Another question, for anyone at goal or near it, do you now feel totally happy with your appearance or is there that wee bit inside you that still feels not quite satisfied?
I'm asking because although I know in my head that I'm doing good and lighter than I was 6 months ago,I still have low days that I feel bigger than I am. Maybe its because for so long, losing weight has been a main focus in my mind . I dont know, sorry for the ramble. Prob not even making sense.

Anyway girls, good luck for your weigh ins - I look forward to hearing them.
Karrie x

Weigh In

Morning all. Sorry I didn't check in last week. Have had a lot going on! I'm still managing to maintain around my goal weight... down to 59.2kg this week, so 800g off from last week's 60kg. I seem to be staying between 59-60kg pretty consistently, which I'm happy about! It's now a month since I reached goal. Wow, that's hard to believe!!

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and the scales are kind to you this week!

Thursday, March 15, 2007

RESULTS ARE IN - AFTER 5 WEEKS

Okay here goes! You all did as I asked and had an awesome crack this week and we got our best combined loss since week 1!! Combined we lost 7.4 kilos this week which is fantastic!

ALL UP NOW WE HAVE LOST A COMBINED WEIGHT LOSS OF 26.6 KILOS (and that includes any gains any of us are guilty of having!)

I honestly thought i was a shoe in for the biggest loser this week after a whopping 2.4 kilos lost, little did i know that good old helen was going to pull something bigger - 3.2 kilos - thats HUGE! WELL DONE HELEN FOR BEING OUR BIGGEST LOSER THIS WEEK!

To date our biggest loser is - ooh i just looked - its me! yey! I have lost 4.7 kilos in the 5 weeks and thats with a big gain in week 2 of 1.3+ so it can be done even after weeks like that! this week saved me anyway!!!

I will firstly list this weeks losers - followed by losses to date - and how far off our biggest loser goals we are! I hope your all very proud of what youve done just in the last month or so! its so achievable when you stick with the program and have the support of each other to get there!

THIS WEEKS RESULTS

HELEN 3.2 LOST
Jenna 2.4 LOST
Carly 900g LOST
Wendy 600g LOST
Chrissy 600g LOST
Cacher 200g LOST
Karrie 200g LOST

Other than that we only had two gainers - that will have big losses this week, and three who maintained! Great team effort guys well done!

LOSSES TO DATE - HOW FAR TO BL ONLINE GOAL WEIGHT (please remember everyone had individual goals so the amounts remaining will differ, depending on indiv weights and what we wanted to each achieve.)

Jenna LTD 4.7 KILOS - 2.9 off target
Helen LTD 3.5 KILOS - 6.5 off target
Cacher LTD 2.9 KILOS - 6.6 off target
Karrie LTD 1.4 KILOS - 3.6 off target
Cheryl LTD 1.6 KILOS - 1.4 off target
Gen LTD 2 KILOS - 6 off target
Wendy LTD 800g - 5.9 off target
Carly LTD 2.6 KILOS - 7 off target
Sherrie LTD 3.5 KILOS - 6 off target
Angelle LTD 800g - 10 off target
Chrissy LTD 1.4 KILOS - 5.7 off target

and last but not least Caz is maintaining and right on target so well done to her!

I decided that because we are all different body weights to start and all have different goals in this challenge that there can be more than one biggest loser overall - and thats anyone who gets to their goal weight at the end of the challenge, - but think about it if you fall a kilo short come last weigh in - your still so much closer to your ww goal its not funny!

Have a great weekend everyone, take care of yourselves, keep strong and stay honest! one day we'll get the hang of these weekends i promise xx

Phew

Had the world's hardest training session today - I think my trainer canes us on Fridays because we're going to have the weekend off...hmmm? Last week he made us run 10 sets of stairs, then run across a footbridge across the freeway, and I thought I'd die.

Today, lots of boxing and 50 trillion step ups ON A PARK BENCH - really high! I could hardly walk afterwards heh.

The good news is that according to my HR monitor, I burned 679 calories in an hour, so that's awesome! Fingers crossed I can reverse my gain and lose at least 700g this week... although I'll be happy to start by losing anything!

Have a great weekend everyone, and don't do anything I wouldn't do... mind you, that leave plenty of options...

Stayed the same

Hello ladies,

Well I stayed the same this week, but I am really happy with that- I had a minor meltdown at the beginning of the week and got out of control a bit as I was tired and emotional. Lots of stuff happening at the moment, so unfortunately my solution was to eat cheese and drink lots of wine :( Not the best choice, but at least I know the warning signals before I get into a situation like that again. I have taken on the challenge for this week and planned EVERY meal for the week. My weakness is the weekend- have always planned my food during the week easily enough, but I've always got the weekend and had whatever was left in the cupboard. Usually thats ok, cause I don't buy bad stuff, its only bad if 1. Have no food left, so go buy fast food instead 2. BF buys chips/chocolate and its just there and can't help myself!! The trick to my weekend planning is having food I love thats also good for you. So bring on next week's weigh-in!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend and all the best for your weigh-ins next week x

STARTING TO LOSE AGAIN

Hi everyone,
Just checking in with my results. I lost 200g this week which aint brilliant, but its a start back in the right direction. Hopefully, this next week will be better because it will be my first full week with no rellies here(they just left last thursday). I do need to get mentally back in a good place because I've been slacking off big style for a while and it can be so hard getting back into a healthy way of living. Just yesterday, I had been doing good, sticking to my points, excercising , drinking loads of water, and then around 10ish ended up eating a bag of crisps and a kitkat!

Its like I knew I shouldn't but I didn't have the willpower not to. I know its not the end of the world, but because I've been so bad the past 3 weeks, I feel like such a loser(not in the good way!)
Anyway, like they say, tomorrow is another day, so just need to be stronger.
Sorry for the rant, I'm just feeling sorry for myself.(I'll snap out of it)

Well done to everyone else who lost and keep up the good work,
Karrie x

Some other goals for this week

TRACK EVERYTHING
PLAN EVERYTHING
DAILY EXERCISE

DRINK LOADS OF WATER

Have a good week all.

Later in the week im going to post how far we've come in the 5 weeks of our BL challenge and how far we all have to our mini goals! keep at it girls your doing great!

TRY AGAIN

Hi guys, tried to post a few times last night but its not working from home - i lost 2.4kilos! I was stoked after a huge night celebrating my fiance's cricket grand final win! and he got best on ground! so we had a big night and i weighed in monday morning thinking - oh oh! i was bloated and very hung over, and i lost 2.4 kilos!!!! im now in the seventies, for the first time in the longest time - since school im sure! and i feel great, my pants are loose this week, im out of all the 16 stuff too, its 12/14s which is a big turn around from 12 months ago - 18/20! what a difference we can all make in our lives, its amazing to have so much power!! I hope you all have great weeks and look forward to hearing how you all went!!!

Oops...

Well - it finally happened. Jenn, I think you jinxed me!! For the first time in 15 weeks, I gained!! Only 700g, but poo!!

My only excuse is that it was my birthday week (very small piece of cake!), plus had a work dinner (indian, two glasses of wine) - and had a roadtrip down to the south coast for a friend's wedding. I genuinely did choose the best foods I could, but that still involved one Macca's breakfast (hash brown, bacon & egg mcmuffin) and one post-wedding fry up (bacon, egg, cheese roll).

Not to mention the oh.............10 or so glasses of cheap white that had me up all night after the wedding, donating calories to the porcelain bowl. Good lord, did I chuck a lot. I have decided I'm far too old to drink properly, so I think I may just give it away entirely. I'm getting so boring!!! Up at 5am for training, no smoking, no drinking.. no fun at all!! Heh.

This week, right back on track. .. goals for the week:
1. Drink 2.5-3.5 L/day - of water, rather than wine this week.
2. Reduce calorie target from 1550 to 1400 calories/day.
3. Exercise at least 500 calories off per day.

Hope everyone else did better than me!!

FEELS GREAT TO BE A 70s GIRL!

I did a Munnalita!!

As Jenn mentioned the weekend is where most of us come unstuck....

During the week I am usually pretty good, eat well, do at least 30mins of exercise (usually a bit more) but when I get to the weekend I just lose the plot!

Last weekend it was my dad's bday so we went to his house and had a lamb roast (better than the chinese we were going to have), ate a smaller portion than he dished up, was quite proud of myself as Lamb roast is one of my favs, but the problem was on the way there my brother decided to stop at Krispy Kreams!! arghhh... he is a junk food adict (he can eat and eat and eat and is still underweight!) We brought 26 doughnuts (mix of glazed and iced)!!! Before lunch he had already had 2! I shared half a doughnut with my dad and then had a glazed one that night, the next day I took 4 to work (3 for the guys and one for me) and somehow I had managed to fit the doughnuts into my days calories (with a bit of extra exercise) and still somehow managed to lose 600g.

But this weekend I headed to the local cheapo supermarket and whilst standing in line I saw my all time favorite choc bars Butterfingers and Baby Ruths!! I haven't had these in at least 18months (since I was on holiday in the States) so I got one for my brother, mum and myself (Had to stop myself from stocking up on them). I got home and ate my butterfinger all 270cals of it! then decided I couldn't wait until my brother came home to taste his Baby Ruth, so I ate my mums one!!

When Munnalita ate those 2 Mars Bars I was a bit shocked (mainly due to her justification- didn't seem like she had learn't anything) but then I went and did the same thing!!
After feeling a bit ill for a while (I think it was the guilt talking) I jumped on the exercise bike and worked so hard, skipped lunch and somehow worked off all those calories!

It's funny, I can easily go shopping at Coles/Safeway and not buy any chocolate, crisps etc, but seeing those chocolate bars just killed me! I definately wont be going back there to shop anymore!!

So anyway, after my chocolate binge I still managed to lose 900g, taking me to 72kg, but if I hadn't had them I may be in the 71 range now...oh well can't undo the past, just gotta keep moving forward....and stick to shopping lists!

Oh and I promise to never do a "Munnalita" again!!!!

I hope you all have a fantastic weekend, enjoy the extra day if your in victoria and Ill catch you all next week - remember to keep active, stay honest, track everything and stick to your plan and points! (for those on the points plan) and have a great weekend - you deserve it! take care x
and well done, we've lost another 5 kilos combined this week. ill post the results once i get hilltopdreamers results..
HAVE A GREAT FAT BURNING WEEKEND

I'm losing again :)

Hello girls,

I'm happy to report a 1kg loss this week, so back in the losing game, which is good!! I am surprised as I did indulge a bit when I visited my folks last weekend, but I buckled down when I got back to Sydney and it obviously paid off! I'm up to doing 25 min runs in the C25K program, and I reckon thats the reason I am dropping weight like nothing else... well I am in comparison to how I had been going! I haven't lost weight at this rate since I first started WW. Thanks to you girls and especially Jenn for your encouragement- I can honestly say that thats the main source of day-to-day motivation for me and owe you so much!!! Hmmm, the end is so close I can almost taste it...

Have a lovely weekend, and good-luck for weigh-ins next week x

WELL DONE TO ALL THE LOSERS

Well done guys, there are some real consistencies and its great to see the kilos coming off even if it is slower than we like! I want to set a challenge for the next weigh in - I want to see some figures! we have dwindled from the first week and I want to see some power numbers next time you get on the scale, even if its just 100g more than what you usually get, or were hoping for! It just means being EXTRA good over the weekend, moving a bit more and sticking to your points, we all blow out in some way or another over the 2 day break, so even if its just extra important this weekend I want us all to do it! It will keep me extra honest too with a day at the cricket grand final on sunday.

but heres how ill tackle that - make my own platter with healthier options and keeping it close by! I will also limit my alcohol so that I can report a good loss when i weigh in the next day! Ill get my work out done in the morning so thats out of the way and count my points! we can all do this its just the little changes that we need to focus on! lets do it! I want us to beat this weeks weigh in if thats all! if you weigh mondays - yep you have 4 days to redeem what ever the first few days have been like or just to strive harder if thats all it takes!

Have a great week! keep that heart rate up, the food portions down, the water intake high and remember to smile! your changing your life! and inspiring mine!!

At least it was something

Hey girls congrats to all of you for your losses and efforts, my loss was only 100gs this week but at least it wasn't a gain!!!!! Hope you all have a great week mwa

STILL THE SAME

Hi everyone,

Sorry I still dont have much good news to report. I never lost, but I never gained either.

In a way I'm really surprised that I didn't gain - It must be all the walking I am doing when taking my family on day trips out. On Saturday, we went to the zoo and must have walked for about five or six hours with only about a half hour break for a bite to eat. That night my feet were killing me but I felt satisfaction to know that we all done something together AND exercised at the same time.

My sister goes back home on Thursday, so I will really work my but off when they go!

I missed the biggest loser last night(Mon) Could someone tell me who got voted out? Ta.

Anyway well done to everyone who loses this week and I will try harder to start getting the scales to go down soon!

Good luck to all, Karrie x

Weigh In

Down to 59kg this week, so a loss of 1kg even on maintenance... Am having a tough time with my personal life though, breaking up with my fiance last week, so I'm pretty sure that has something to do with the loss. But I'm trying to look after myself properly, and have friends looking out for me, so will make sure I don't go much lower than that... At least I'm not emotional eating I suppose - goes to show WW has taught me something! Well done on everyone's losses so far. Hope you all have a good week.
Well, I may have forgotten until I was in the shower wondering what date it was, but it's my birthday today! 32 yo, and as of last Saturday, I'm a happy non-smoker! I attended Allen Carr's EasyWay to Stop Smoking, and I already feel better - not sure if it's all in my mind, but don't care either!!

This week, I lost 600g, down to 94kg (total loss since Dec 1 = 11.6kg).

I've lost 600-700g for the last 6 weeks, which is getting annoying. Yes, I know it's in the recommended range, but I'm working so hard, I expect more! I've bought a HR monitor, so once that arrives I can't wait to increase my workout intensity and see what changes I get. I do notice it's hard to get my HR up on the treadmill now, even with slow jogging.

Well done Jenn, and hope everyone else has a good week's weigh in!

WEIGH INS AFTER 4 WEEKS!

FIRSTLY DO YOU REALISE IN THE FIRST THREE WEEKS WE LOST A TOTAL OF 14.4 KILOS and thats between 9 or 10 of us since some have either pulled out or not recorded their losses. So well done! thats a lot for our little group!

SO GUESS WHAT !! I lost 1.1 KILOS this week - and its TTOM this week!!!! I was stoked and so happy and proud of myself, besides my back being out this morning im pushing through and trying to feel better by training tonight! It shows what no alcohol on the weekend does! even though I had one celebratory glass on friday night when we won our tennis grand final! I counted it in my daily points though and it was fine!

Last night I sat down to watch the biggest loser and wrote up my plan for this week, very inspired, i was like a kid at christmas waiting to weigh in this morning! was very happy when i was under 83! The 70s are in sight sooner than I thought too!

I had a great work out weekend, an 8.2 km walk after work saturday morning.. seen my first snake too - did i mention mum had a snake in her living room on friday... (they are in the middle of town!) so that was a bit scary!! sunday i did my run/ride/swim then weights and felt awesome all day. went to a food and wine day and packed my sandwhich and bottles of water and refused all the pressure to drink, and the feeling I had on the scales this morning was worth it all! I havent felt this great in ages - besides the back and the headcold, so im very positive!

Anyway I better get into it, have a great week and cant wait to hear how you all went!!!

THIS WEEKS CHALLENGES

Okay we've got weigh ins starting from monday next week so lets make the weekend count and have some extra challenges over the weekend! Im setting myself a few already. NO GROG! Not a droplet! And no crap. Im going to reward my body with beautiful healthy nutritious food instead! Im going to work out friday saturday and sunday and I know ill see the benifits on monday! Its TTOM so that just means i have to bust my arse a bit more this weekend and ill be right!

THIS WEEK - everyone has to do over 10,000 steps on saturday and sunday - if you dont have a pedometer, you have to do an hours walk each day.

On one of the days over the weekend (both if your keen) get down and give me 10 - I want you all to do 3 sets of 10 of the following! sit ups, push ups, squats and bench ups (put your back to a bench/chair) and lower yourself with your arms and up again! do this quick work out after your walk and you will feel EVEN better! tone those arms and belly to burn up some more fat for weigh in!

STEER CLEAR of fatty foods and if in doubt think of Me! Ill be after you next week! Or think you have to answer to shannon or michelle on the biggest loser and I dont think youll be touching anything naughty!

And last but not least - have a bloody fantastic break!

BIGGEST LOSER RESULTS AFTER WEEK 3

Hi ladies, well done on another good week to all of you who lost - to all of you who did not - take these positives out of the week and we expect good results from you all next weigh in!!

- NO ONE HAS GAINED THIS WEEK! (thats with out hearing back from wendy in a couple of weeks and hill top dreamer this week) and thats compared to SIX - gaining last week! (chrissy have put yours down for last week!)

- All of you have been accountable - by posting a no change, you've aknowledged it, and realised where you could improved! well done!

-And for the four of you who stayed the same this week - your the same, you havent taken any steps backwards, so next week is looking very bright for you all!!

WELL DONE TO THIS WEEKS BIGGEST LOSER -
ANGELLE !!! 1.2 KILOS OF FAT - GONE FOR GOOD!!!

OTHER LOSERS WERE

BOUNCINGSOUL lost 1.1
JENNA lost 900g
GEN lost 700g
CHERYL lost 200g

Well done chicks, keep focused, keep moving, track track track and set yourselves some challenges!!!

All the best for a really good week this week!

No loss

Hello girlies,

Well, no loss for me this week, but on the upside, no gain either! This week, I ate a bit more than I normally do and my body wasn't really into exercise- I felt like lead for some of my workouts. I did have a workout last night, and felt really into it, so feel more renewed about committing to it this week ahead. My challenge this weekend is avoiding indulgence as I am visiting my parents- so not only do I have to avoid being spoilt, but as we have to travel 4 hours each way to my home town, I have to avoid junk food on the road! But I've chucked some fruit in my handbag, so should be strong enough :) Hope everyone has a great weekend full of good choices and good luck for weigh-ins next week! xx

LATE FOR MY WEIGH IN

Hi girls,

Sorry its taken me so long to write in but my internet access has been playing up and Ive not been online. Well, I didnt lose anything this week - not so inspiring to you other girls. You all seem to be doing so well again. Well done to you.

I know its no excuse but still having my sis and her family staying really is hard work food wise. We end up going out for dinner a lot more and even if I order the healthier options, its still more indulging than I am used to. Then there is the drink. I wont even go into that!

So sorry I am not being as strong as I should, but I promise when they go back to Scotland, you will see (so to speak) a new me.

Whoohoo!! I'm in the 73's!!!

Hi girls!
Well I finally did it- I broke the plateau! After about 4 weeks stuck in the 74kg range, I finally got down to 73.5 today! Yeaha!
Not sure how I did it, as I have cut back on exercise as I was getting too exhausted, maybe it helped, who knows!?! Now I'm giving myself stretching days and sit up days instead of 7 days a week cardio.

Hopefully it all goes well again this weekend.

Apologies for not getting on here very often, but my work has blocked almost all my internet access, (even during lunch!) and I dont get much time of an evening. So until next week I wsh you all a great week of weight loss!!!

MY WEIGH IN WEEK 3

Hi again - here to post this weeks results which I believe is very reflective and acurate on my week. I lost 900 grams. which was great considering I drank 2 bottles of wine and a udl at my aunties 40th saturday night (4am finish) and picked a bit more than i would have liked to. My big thing was making sure I didnt splurge on the following day and I did well with that. So a loss is a loss and im happy with my 900grams this week! next week I WILL BE UNDER 83 - the stubborn plateu that has pulled me up for months now! So this weekend WILL be a party free weekend and my loss WILL be over 1kilo even being TTOM!

Biggest loser last night was inspiring - especially DAVID (I think thats his name - the 200kilo fella, lovely guy) his words were very inspiring! I hope you all had an honest weekend and look forward to good results as a reward this week! there were definately some little losses (not for the real world but in the house they are little) Maybe some of you with these impressive losses should have weighed in instead of them this week!!! - happy weigh ins...

WEEK 3 DOWN

Hi lovely ladies,

Sorry I havent posted last weeks total weight loss - waiting on wendy and chrissy is away. those that have weighed in and recorded losses were -

WEEK 2 results

CACHER 2.3
KARRIE 1.7
CHERYL 600g
GEN 600g
SHERRIE 1.5
CAZ 200g

The rest either didnt lose or I havent heard from - well done to all of those losses - big or small! And a big well done to our biggest loser CACHER (Hill top dreamer!) some of our results are more than the real biggest losers!! look out!

3rd Weigh In

Morning lovelies. Well I managed to maintain at 60kg this week. Yay :) I had a hectic week last week, and another coming this week so hopefully I can keep it up and not lose the plot! I nearly gave in to greasy Macca's or something equally unhealthy yesterday, but stuck with Subway and felt a lot better for it! Working crazy hours this week so looks like lots of WW Frozen Meals for me... Hope you all had a lovely weekend and have a great week.

Week 3 weigh-in

Ok, check in today:

Last week: 95.3
This week: 94.6

Loss: 700g

Still doing the training (and suffering accordingly!) - motivation is high.

Good luck on weigh-in everyone!

-Gen

I did ok...

I almost feel bad about posting my results this week- I lost 1.5kg this week, which I'm happy about, but because so many people struggled this week, I feel like I should be joining in!!! I am currently broke (and probably will be for a while) as my partner and I are saving our dough to visit the UK for 3 weeks in May, so I have no money to go out and socialise! Makes things easier on the losing weight front, with few temptations, and plenty of time to exercise! So thats my excuse for losing weight :) So for me, it means I am now 75kg, with 2.5kg down for this challenge and only 7 kg to my goal weight!!!! Ok, so now I'm letting out my excitement!!!! Hope you all have a fabulous week, and wishing you all in the strength in the world to make good choices xx

Gain for week 2

Hi everyone,

I am feeling very ashamed of myself. I had a gain of 500g this week, which is sooo not good after working so hard the previous week. Been drinking too much, eating pizza, chinese take away, indian curry, burgers on the barbie,- you get the drift! I am lucky that I didnt gain more.

Relatives still have another fortnight so I'll just have to be a lot more disciplined, which is hard because they love to indulge on holiday. Anyway, no more excuses, Its my own choices that got me into this mess and its up to me to fix it - which I shall.

Well done to all that lost this week and good luck to those still to weigh in.

I did it again

Well I did it again... I went sooo well at the start of the week ate really well and exercised heaps until I had a "yummy naughty treat" then the vicious cycle started I felt soooo guilty and lethargic that I didn't exercise and thought ok will do more tomorrow but tomorrow came felt really yuck still soo hmmm a crunchy mcflurry with m&m pieces was a great pick me up then an hour later felt crap no exercise next day pizza and the cycle continued (man you think I'd just go come on break this and feel better but nooooooo!!!) well until I got on the scales and had put on 500gs so yes back to 77.3:( I felt sooo guilty and yuck and thought about not even posting but here I am and I am going to make sure this week is different if for nothing else just the way last week made me physically feel!!!!!

Congrats to all who lost weight xoxox

HMMM... where did that wagon get too....

hi guys, sorry for the late post.. yesterday was a soul searching day of why why why and what have i done... but i guess the best way to learn from it is to aknowledge it and move on...

i gained a kilo when i weighed in yesterday morning :( and was so depressed about the whole thing then i got on and checked this morning - which is so unlike me to weigh more than once a week and i had already lost 600grams of that kilo gain... so i think it was just the weekend of alcohol and crappy food. so im keen to get that plus more off when i weigh in next monday. and im not drinking for a few weeks again to kick some more... i cant expect miracles when i look at all the food and drinks i consumed over the weekend...

If any of you are interested in what MAKES you gain a KILO this is it -

fri - 3 yager bombs, couple of pulses, a beer, 10 or more wines, a couple of udls, 2 pieces of pizza, no exercise sat - BIG chicken snitzel burger with cheese onion and gravy, 20 prawn cocktail with wayyy too much thousand island dressing, 6 or more pieces of home made italian style pizza, and no exercise
sun - YES there was loads of exerercise followed by a healthy salad roll for lunch... then i went down hill and had 3 champanges, sooo much bickies cheese and dip and then pasta and pizza for tea - no that wasnt a mistake there was pizza every night when i look at that!!

So to avoid weight loss avoid the above! Honestly what did i think was going to happen when i got on the scales monday morning - im lucky it was only a kilo!! Jennas back now though and im keen for the next few weeks and learning from my mistakes for the future!

Well done to all of you who lost and all of you still to weigh in xx

Sunday, February 18, 2007

Week 2

Well... I MADE GOAL!!! WOOOOOOO!!! I weighed in spot on 60kg... I brought my weigh-in forward to yesterday morning so I could be at goal for my birthday, and I did it. Only a loss of 200g but I still got there... WOOOO HOOOO!!! It's only a little loss coz I had a baaaad week alcohol wise, with white wine on Tuesday night, lots of Bacardis on Thursday night and lots and LOTS of Bacardis on Saturday night. Very unusual for me seeing as I'm nearly ALWAYS the designated driver - so much so that one of my mates started calling me Desi for a while! Still, it was my birthday week, so I figure I was allowed!! And I still lost... Anyways, I hope the rest of you have had a good week too... Now it's back on track and onto maintenance for me - up to 23 points from 19, so it'll be interesting adjusting!

I'm never drinking again! (Yeah Right!)

Hey gang,
Well firstly I should introduce myself- I'm Carly (bouncing_soul79).
I have finally managed to get some time on the internet so thought I better log in here and make a contribution.
Been on WW since the beginning of January and have already hit a bit of a plateu! Been stuck in the 74's for the past 3-4 weeks, it's driving me crazy. I had intended on working really hard this weekend, eating right, exercising heaps to get down to the 73's, but I dont think it will happen.
Yesterday I had to drive 2 hours to take photos at a wedding for a friend of my mums, left home a 10am and didn't get back until 4pm, then a friend came over and we proceeded to make cocktails...arghhhh.... I dont usually drink, I dont know what came over me. Oh they were yummy, but I'm regretting it today. We made long island iced tea, champagne cocktails, banana slushie things, and we drank so much more, ate loads of cheese and crackers and then decided to cook a bbq..... so yeah I'm dreading the weigh in tomorrow.
Hopefully I can get my act together today and do some exercise, hopefully the scales will go down tomorrow and not up.........

Oh yeah and just want to say how well everyone did on the first weigh in, it's so good to see the scales going down for everyone!!

Alright off to clean up the mess I left in the kitchen last night, not a pretty sight to wake up to a kitchen full of dishes after a night drinking..... that will teach me!

Good Luck with the Weigh In's this week!!

Lots of running this morning - thank goodness for the C25K training! Up to week 4, session 3 tomorrow - eek! Dying about the thought of 20 mins running, as 5 mins is still kicking my butt. Will see how I go tomorrow.

Week 1 Weigh-In- Sherrie

Hello ladies!

Happy to report a loss of 1kg for this week! So I'm now 76.5kg with 8.5kg to go for my goal! I am getting excited, because my motivation levels are very high and my goal seems for the first time within my reach.

I really believe the reason I've had a couple of good losses in row now is because of the C25K program I'm halfway through at the moment. I can feel the improvement in my fitness every week with it. Next week is week 5 of the program, and those who know the program know that means the dreaded 20min straight run at the end! I have to say though that I really appreciate what my body can do at the moment and believe it can hack it!

How is everyone enjoying the show at the moment? What do you think of the new ladies who started last night? Laura seems like such a sweetie and, well, P'eta seems very determined! Will be very interesting to see how they fit into the groups.

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend making good choices and good luck for your next weigh-in! Take care x

Sherrie's weekend

Well done everyone who has weighed in today!! All those results are fab! You guys are so inspiring… I feel so flat today, but reading about your losses makes me want to go out there and exercise my bum off big time! (Errr, quite literally!)

I had a pretty good weekend WW-wise bar one exception. I went to movies on Saturday and went to ask for a small popcorn and small Diet Coke, and the lady promptly said “if you get a medium size combo, it works out cheaper”. Not quite understanding what the go was, I said yes… then got presented with a massive box of popcorn!!! Medium is about the size I remembered a large was once-upon-a-time. I love popcorn, so it wasn’t a matter of not eating all of it… so that was my slip-up for the weekend! That and a mate who came over for a BBQ on Sunday brought a block of Cadbury’s Macadamia chocolate over… so I had a bit… but not much!!! All-in-all though, it worked out within my weekly Core points, so it means its all Core food now for the rest of the week :) I absolutely killed myself at the gym on Saturday, and was then killed by my trainer (I am struggling to lift my arms up still!), so I think my weekend in total was much healthier than a normal weekend for me.

Really enjoyed the Biggest Loser last night- will be very interesting next week to see how they go weight-loss wise after their massive losses this week. And I was so glad to see Alex get up and show the rest of the Red team he's not the weakest link. I reckon it won't be enough to save him from elimination tonight though!

Hope everyone has a great day! xo

Problems with my profile

Hi girls,

sorry to have my ugly mug on this page but I was trying to put a photo in my profile and got a bit mixed up!
I'm pretty hopeless with computers. Does anyone know how to get pic on profile - not on this page. Is it even possible? I installed Hello Picassa but obviously didnt do something right.
Sorry again, I know this doesnt have anything to do with biggest loser.

WEIGH IN #1

Hi girls,

So week one and I am down 1.7kgs! Yipee!! Its been a while since I lost anywhere near this. It just goes to show you that if you put your mind to it, anythings possible.

I need to get a battery for my pedometer, so prob wont be able to start counting steps untill tomorrow.

Well done to everyone else who has lost as well. Only week one and already doing great. Just imagine what we'll get down to by the end of the series!

This week and the next 3 actually, I will need super willpower and motivation because my sister, BIL, and nephew are coming to visit from Scotland for 3 weeks.I know they will want to indulge and eat out loads.( not to mention the booze!) I WILL make sure that I WILL at least do my exercise even if it is in front of them.(maybe encourage them to do the same)

I, too am glad the blue team won last night. They seem more united as a team. Cant wait to see who they vote out tonight.

Everyone, keep up the good work and try to keep inspired by the brave people on tv doing it in front of the whole country.

Week 1 Weigh In

Despite a pretty slack week last week I'm down 800g, bringing me to 200g off goal... Exercise will be up-ed this week (I don't have a pedometer, and I barely did anything last week, so just getting out the door will be an improvement!) and I will be a saint in every other way possible - all my water, under my points, no eating of bonus points... and I WILL be at goal by Sunday (my Birthday).

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Weigh in #1

Ok, weigh in day: lost 800g, down to 95.9 for a total of 9.7kg lost (800g for this challenge). I am still on track for my goal of 8kg lost in the challenge.

Had to back off exercise the past couple of days, as my lower back is killing me - I wonder if it's te jarring from running on the treadmill in the C25K. I'm up to week 4, will do it tomorrow night if my back feels better. In the meantime, I'll stick to walking.

Am switching to the Core/No Count plan this week - I mostly eat Core foods anyhow, and will just have to get wholegrain bread instead of wholemeal. Got my groceries delivered on the weekend and have chopped up all my veggies, so I'm all set for this week. Personal trainer cancelled today, so we start Wed now - hopefully my back is all better by then.

MONDAY RESULTS!

Just posting my loss for last week - weighed in this morning and lost another 1.6kilos!! Yey!! Great start to the challenge.. Cant wait to hear how you all went! so glad the blue team won last night!! have a good day!

SUNDAY NIGHT - ALREADY

Hi all,

So its sunday night, I can never get online on weekends buts this week ive been extra keen to see how you've all gone!

I've had an..umm OKAY weekend.. better than normal i guess but not as perfect as I was after!! Friday night we went for tea at a friends and I made really really good choices, then saturday morning i had to clean (work) and I got up an hour early and did my run/walk around the park.. then last night i ended up having 4 drinks - which i counted, but wish I hadnt bothered, and then we had a late night, even though i was driving i woke up this morning feeling blah... ate a bit too much today but it wasnt too bad a stuff and had a ww meal for tea tonight.. i still felt really flat becuase i had only been for a casual walk with my partner down the street to get subway for lunch... (not too far) and then it rained all afternoon.. so to get myself out of the slump = and knowing i had you guys to answer to tomorrow, i pulled my finger out, put my walking gear on and went and ran.. almost 2.5kms... it was great, then i walked a bit further, came back and did my weights, sit ups etc etc, and im feeling great! So while chappy watches the cricket after much delays I thought id check in! im very excited about everyone that weighs in tomorrow! You can email me direct or post your result in here! whatever suits! im confident we're going to have some great results though!

GOOD LUCK - have a great day! WEEK 2 HERE WE COME!

THIS WEEKS CHALLENGE - IS A PEDOMETRE CHALLENGE... If you dont have one, stick to your regular work outs and add a bit extra each day!

FOR THOSE THAT DO - you must aquire at least 10000 every day! thats right.. and keep it on from dusk till dawn because its the incidental steps that add up!

This weekend ive got a hens night which im going to make smart choices at but drinks wont be avoided so ive decided to work extra hard from monday to friday to compensate... Better get going.. about to sit down and work out my weekly eating plan.. take care xx

WEEKEND CHALLENGE

GREAT to see your all posting! This is going to be great!!

GOALS FOR THE WEEKEND -

This weekend you must not go over your points - come on its week one - 100% effort required.. if you have a big night planned, only use what bonus points you can.. dont overdo it,

On the exercise front, get an hour in on saturday and sunday - whatever it be.. walking, running, gardenning, housework. you name it.. get active and get bloody excited about those weigh ins next week!! Have a good one!!

Hi ladies!

Hello everyone, I'm Gen ("augigi" on the WW boards). I am excited to have a goal and a plan, as I had been slowing down with my weight loss and getting a bit disappointed. I can safely say I'm not exercising 4 hours a day a la TBL, but I am definitely doing at least an hour a day of cardio, including treadmill walking and completing week 3 of the Couch to 5km challenge today, also adding pilates about 3x week.

Have been very good with food this week - trialling the Wendy plan of alternating high and low point days to try and kickstart my weightloss. It has been quite unsettling having to look up my points each day (I can't remember, brain like a sieve!), and difficult to eat 30 points one day (!), but we'll see how it goes at weigh in on Monday.

Also start with a personal trainer on Monday - there's a group of us from the WW boards who have got a small group together to share the cost of a trainer, so it's come down to about $21/day with a few of us. We'll see how that goes for the next 12 week - ties in nicely with TBL challenge!

Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and a successful weigh in on Monday. Thanks for setting up the challenge and blog Jen, what a great idea!
